Viewing of Planning Applications and Drawings

These pages offer the ability to view on-line all the planning and other applications submitted to the Council since the 1st December 2005.

The facility is intended to reduce the time it takes for plans to be received by interested parties and limiting the need and inconvenience of travelling to one of the Cornwall Council offices.  The plans should be available for viewing within 5 working days of receipt and prior to the start of any public consultation period thereby allowing a minimum of 21 days for viewing and comment.  To find the application(s) you are interested in you need to log onto the Cornwall Council website www.cornwall.gov.uk, these applications can be downloaded on the 'Online Planning Register' through viewing the documents. 

Please note that these downloads generally contain the applications forms, the design and access statement and plans as a single download and are best viewed on a current specification computer on a broadband connection.

The plans displayed are those submitted with the original application and which are subject to public consultation.  Any subsequent drawings submitted or the final approved/refused drawings are not displayed on this site.  However any such subsequent drawings will not be significantly different from the original plans.

Please note that these drawings are protected by the copyright of the original owner. A request to view these drawings will be deemed to be an acceptance of the following copyright statement:

"Plans, drawings and other material submitted to the Council are protected by Section 47 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (Section 47).  You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans.  Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner."

Please note that the plans will not be to the scale detailed on the drawing.  Accurate measurements can only be obtained either by actual dimensions on the drawings or by examining the full scale plans held at the Cornwall Council, Barn Lane, Bodmin reception.
